Lancome Miracle Cushion

Cushion compacts are critically acclaimed products that has recently gained recognition in the world of Western beauty. Cushion foundations originated from Korea, who are renown for innovative, revolutionary products and skincare technology.

Lancome Miracle Cushion Foundation is, to be concise, a liquid foundation in a compact. It's marketed as "Quick. Fresh. Portable." This product proclaims to dispense the perfect amount of make up for effortless application and provides a healthy, dewy glow. This also claims to be a ultra lightweight, refreshing formula that contains hydrating and brightening benefits.

The Miracle Cushion is available in 6 different skin perfecting shades (11 in the U.S). This product comes encased in a large, deluxe compact and the sponge cushion is saturated in foundation which is pressed with a small puff to dispense product. Although I do find this compact to be quite bulky in size, it is faily convenient for travelling and for touch ups.

To apply, it is recommended that you use the puff to gently pat and press the product onto the skin. The puff is small and flexible making it very easy to cover hard to reach areas. The Lancome Miracle Cushion has a very, dewy finish and ergo, will need to be set with a powder if you wish to make it last longer or to eliminate shine around the T-zone area. I find application to be effortless, simple and time-efficient. This is a fuss-free foundation that gives the skin a very luminous, flawless finish and it feels ultra lightweight, hydrating and aqueous. This is a water-based formula, great for dry, normal or combination skin types and is incredibly smooth and refreshing on the skin.

I find that this foundation evens out the skintone and dramatically brightens dry, dull skin. This has the ability to retexturise any rough patches and it also reduces the look of imperfections, signs of aging, redness, fine lines, pores and dry flakes and contains SPF 23 to provide a decent amount of sun protection, essential for daily wear. The consistency of the Miracle Cushion is light and thin and wears like a silky smooth veil that's undetectable, but gives the most naturally radiant and healthy glow. The Miracle Cushion yields a sheer/light coverage and stays true to colour and does not oxidise!

This product is non-sticky, non-greasy, non-cakey and did not dry or settle into fine lines, neither did it accentuate flakes and pores - It did, however, give the most effortless-looking coverage and is one of the most comfortable foundations I have ever worn for up to 6 hours. The Miracle Cushion does seem to have a very slight and subtle fragrance but it does not irritate my skin, clog pores or cause any breakouts. I did notice very slight transfer, but after setting it with a loose powder it was no longer a problem.

This cushion compact is a god send. I purchased mine in the shade 01 Porcelaine and it matches me perfectly (NC15)! I absolutely love the Lancome Miracle Cushion and definitely recommend trying it. It currently retails for $55-60 AUD for the single pack or $80 AUD as a bundle with an extra refill valued at $40 AUD alone. This can be purchased online on the Lancome au site or at any of their counters at Myers, David Jones and Mecca Maxima.

As always, feel free to leave a comment! I love reading all your feedback and thoughts! x
